The Group’s role is to support landholders in improving the landscape condition, sustainability and biodiversity of their land. Originally established to combat soil erosion, problems with rabbits, weeds and other issues in the area, the group now has about 100 members and 150 people on its mailing list, and has planted half a million trees, completed more than 500 projects and repaired, protected and revegetated three quarters of the 150 kilometres of streams in its area.
