Do you run a farm or rural business that relies on ground water, on-farm dams or river extraction? Have you got some great ideas to share about water use?
Southern Rural Water has six spots open for current groundwater or surface water licence-holders from a range of agriculture and horticulture operations to join our Southern Groundwater and Rivers Forum. It meets four times a year and is an important way for you to help us make the decisions that affect your business.
We want a diverse membership on this advisory group to recognise the diversity in the regions where we operate. Ideally, you’ll already be well connected with your community and your industry.
Members advise Southern Rural Water on rural water priorities, bring new ideas and help shape policy. You’ll be compensated for time and travel. Nominations close: 18 July 2018.
For an information pack and nomination form, please go to: http://www.srw.com.au/customers/groundwater-and-rivers/ or call 1300 139 510 for more details.
