Jenny is well known for her role in promoting sustainable, productive agriculture, particularly in Gippsland where she and her husband run a 680ha (1500dse) beef and sheep property.
Jenny is Chair of the South East Victoria and Tasmania Southern Australia Livestock Research Council (SALRC) and member of the broader SAMRC committee (2015-current).
She is also a member of Cattle Councils Environment and Research and Adoption committees and a member of the Australian Beef Sustainability Steering Group.
Jenny received the Victorian DPI Hugh McKay future farming award for her work with Environment and Gippsland Natural in 2007. The West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority’s Lyrebird Award 2008, and placed on the Gippsland Women’s Honour Roll for her work in the area of advancement of Agriculture and her work to protect and enhance the region’s natural resources. Jenny was awarded a Beef Improvement Association Service Award in 2002.
In 2013 Jenny and her husband started an Agri-tourism business promoting the region and red meat production with their business, Gippsland Food Adventures.
