IPM Technologies and Panyyabyr Landcare group invites growers, advisors and land holders to participate in either of two upcoming workshops.
Presenters include Dr. Paul Horne and Jess Page from IPM Technologies
These workshops are supported by the Glenelg Hopkins CMA through funding from the National Landcare Programme.
Invertebrates in the Ecosystem workshop includes: a broad overview of IPM, the role of invertebrates in the ecosystem, insect identification and discussion about ways to encourage insect diversity. This workshop is aimed at all landholders interested in learning about invertebrates.
IPM for Crops and Pastures workshop includes: an introduction to the principles of IPM, insect identification and the development of an IPM strategy for any crop(s) nominated by the participants. This workshop is suited to growers and advisors.
Participants for both workshops are encouraged to bring insect specimens for identification.
