The course covers: Vision and goal setting, Soil productivity and soil health, Land capability, Farm water supply, Grazing and pasture management, Trees for shelter and biodiversity, Risk management (e.g. biosecurity, climate and fire)
Sessions run every Tuesday for six weeks (from 9.30am to 3pm). Some sessions will include presentations from guest speakers and visits to local farms.
This workshop is part of the Glenelg Hopkins OCOC project, supported by the Victorian Government’s funding commitment of $222 million over four years to ensure Victoria’s waterways and catchments support environmental, social, cultural and economic needs and the values of our communities.
