The “Towards Cultural Flows’ project aims to better understand Traditional Owner values and uses for the Glenelg River - at the same time as exploring Aboriginal outcomes through environmental watering. The project is a partnership between Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owner Aboriginal Corporation (GMTOAC), Barengi Gadjin Land Council (BGLC) and Glenelg Hopkins CMA.
Since November 2015 the project team, which includes staff from both Traditional Owner organisations and Glenelg Hopkins CMA, have conducted community interviews and run two river trips.
