Mt.Koroite erosion project near Coleraine adjoining the Rail Reserve involved members of our Landcare group, Alex and Topsy Baulch and the Hamilton - Coleraine Rail Reserve Management Committee.

This is a very large project which included prevention of further erosion by using methods advised by the Catchment Health Engineering such as trickle pipes, Levee Repair and exposed culvert pipe repair, attended by the Management Committee. Followed up by many kilometers of fencing for tree planting areas between the Reserve and the unnamed tributary leading to Ryans Creek attended by the landholder.
