Strategic plan for Ararat Landcare Group
The mission of the Ararat Landcare Group is to promote the understanding and stewardship of the environment in the Ararat urban area.
The strategic plan focuses on four key goals to achieve on-ground work in Ararat:
1. Maintain membership levels at current status.
2. Control gorse throughout Ararat, focusing on Cemetery Creek.
3. Promote stewardship and engage community in the local environment.
4. Support protection of remnant vegetation and revegetation projects.
