Addressing natural resource management issues in the Snowy River Catchment, the Snowy River Interstate Landcare Committee (SRILC) represents nine rural landcare groups and other community members in the southeast of Australia. The region stretches from the Monaro Tablelands in southern NSW to the northern reaches of East Gippsland in Victoria.
SRILC is a volunteer organisation that supports groups and individuals who are collectively working towards improving environmental outcomes and the sustainability of our resources in the Snowy River Catchment.
The nine member groups are formed along sub-catchment boundaries and meet each year to discuss and address natural resource management issues and the challenges affecting agriculture.
In addition to the nine landcare groups represented by SRILC, we have forged strong working partnerships with local councils and regularly engage with state and federal government departments, and an array of community groups.
