LLPG in partnership with DPI will soon be collecting soil core samples from 8 different soil types from within the Lismore Landcare Network area to mount for educational displays.

The soil cores will be 1 metre deep and 10cms in diameter and will feature written descriptions and an interpretation of the soil profile, basic observations about the soil structure, root depth and soil hydrology. Once completed these displays will be used at field days and workshops.
