Lismore Land Protection Group secured funding of $50,000 per year for 3 years to help fund their Landcare Facilitators positions.
The Landcare facilitators based at Lismore oversee the Corangamite Lakes Landcare Network which is comprised of 6 groups including the Lismore Land Protection Group, the Weering-Eurack, Weerite, Cundare-Duverney and Leslie Manor Landcare Groups as well as the Mount Elephant Committee of Management. Support is provided to these groups in grant applications and project management.  The Corangamite Lakes Landcare Network newsletter is a monthly newsletter which is delivered to 800 rural address within the Network area (see map on Lismore's front page).
