The Bellarine Landcare Group (BLG) aims to preserve, protect and enhance the natural environment of the Bellarine Peninsula. We are part of the Victorian volunteer Landcare movement - a joint effort between volunteers, the community, government and businesses. Whether you live, work or regularly visit the Bellarine Peninsula, please consider joining us to help contribute to this precious place.

An incorporated body of community volunteers covering the Bellarine Peninsula east of the Barwon River, and the catchment area of the Bellarine Ramsar wetlands. Our purpose is to promote biodiversity, sustainable use of the land and water resources, and to create a healthy and natural environment across the Bellarine Peninsula.

Bellarine Landcare Group (BLG) covers the Bellarine Peninsula, east of the Barwon River, was formed in 1992, and is a member of the Bellarine Catchment Network, (BCN).


Meetings are held on the second Wednesday evening of each month at the Marcus Hill Hall at 6:30 pm. Guest speakers, activities and current issues are discussed.
Membership is open to urban and rural residents: - $40 per property over 1 hectare and includes 2 family members  - $20 Urban or less than 1 hectare per member and - $5 per Pensioner, Health Card concession, students and nursery volunteers
