This event is part of
Flood rehabilitation work along Moonlight Creek
The recent floods have left us with some rehabilitation work to do. The damage is not too serious but we need to clear away rubbish from around plants and replace stakes and guards. We will start along Moonlight Creek, so gather on the parking area we used for National Tree Day (on the south side of the road). There may also be some additional grasses to plant.
We will start at 10 am and have morning tea at about 11.30.
Bring mattocks, mash hammers, boots and gloves. Something to kneel on might also be a good idea.
We also suggest that you bring high-strength insect repellent, as there are many large mosquitoes emerging after the recent rains.
